Halle Berry says designing her own lingerie line never felt like work, because she loves making women "feel beautiful".
Halle Berry wants her lingerie line to appeal to "every woman".
The 48-year-old actress has turned her hand to designing underwear after discovering that there wasn't a luxurious, affordable range in Paris, France, where her husband Olivier Martinez lives.
So Halle designed the Scandale Paris line, which is sold in France and now in Target stores in America.
In a new interview about the range, Halle says she has never felt like working on the range is a job because she loves having the opportunity to make women feel beautiful.
"It doesn't feel like work. This for me, feels like play," Halle told People. "I get to design lingerie and pick out fabrics and colour schemes and estimate what women will want and what will make them feel beautiful so this hasn't really been hard to integrate."
Halle, who told the publication that her underwear of choice is either black or leopard print, said it was important to her that the line be reasonably priced.
The Revlon representative told People that she is hopeful the range will appeal to women of all ages, and all backgrounds.
"Through my long association with Revlon I have direct access to every woman and so I thought this would be a good platform for me to bring them something else," she said. "It is really important that no matter what background you come from you can pick up one of these pieces and you can love it and you can also afford it."
