Khloé Kardashian doesn't believe in diets.


Khloé Kardashian says exercise is her greatest vice.


The 30-year-old reality TV star is thought to have dropped around 40lbs. last year, mostly thanks to a renewed dedication to the gym. Working out also helped her cope with her marriage breakdown, with the star still going through her divorce from basketball star Lamar Odom.

"I don't really diet. I believe in making healthy choices - I'll eat what I want, but in moderation. But when you work out you want to make smarter decisions anyway," she told British magazine Cosmopolitan. "I didn't realise I enjoyed working out until the height of the drama with Lamar was over. If I'm irritated I like to run it out - it gets the endorphins going. It's like the best vice you could ever have. And when you are toned and strong you feel good. I definitely feel sexier."


This is all stuff that Khloé's trainer Gunnar Peterson agrees with. He's seen a big change in the star's workouts over the last 12 months and believes she's now truly reaping the results. On top of her exercise regime, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has also watched her calories intake and made other healthy lifestyle choices.


"The focus was obviously let's make sure those glutes look as good as they can, because they are featured everywhere, all the time," Gunnar told British magazine Heat.


"[In the past year] she is more consistent on all fronts. Her hour-and-a-half in the gym is being bolstered by good choices at meal times, adequate sleep and proper hydration."
